C.O.A.S.T.A.L. Kids
Cultivating Outdoor Adventures and Scientific Thinking through Active Learning
Welcome to C.O.A.S.T.A.L. Kids, an education mini-series brought to you by
Nemours Wildlife Foundation and the Spring Island Trust.
Our mission is to provide the children of the Lowcountry with fun and engaging hands-on nature experiences inspiring lifetimes of muddy boots, outdoor joy, and conservation advocacy.
C.O.A.S.T.A.L. Kids is a FREE program for children in 1st through 5th grade. The first Saturday of September, October, and November participants will explore the diversity of habitats and animals throughout the Lowcountry. Each full-day session focuses on a different theme from reptiles and amphibians to bird biology and saltmarsh ecosystems. We explore, we learn, we get a little (or a lot) muddy, and most importantly we have fun!
Apply Today
The next cohort of C.O.A.S.T.A.L. Kids begins this fall, so get excited! We will accept applications until all available spots are filled. Space is limited, so get in your application early.
