Winter in the Lowcountry
Even though our winters are pretty mild compared to other parts of the world, the cooler months in the lowcountry can be tough on local wildlife. Some species are forced underground and remain inactive for many months, others may migrate to warmer habitats but there are some species that must find food and stay active no matter how cold it gets. Join us as we look at how some local animals spend the coldest days of the year.
